"Objets trouvés" est une invitation à se saisir des sujets du réemploi et de la réutilisation des matières afin de leur ajouter une dimension culturelle et disciplinaire nécessaire. Cette exposition rassemble quarante-deux pratiques internationales pour spéculer sur la transformation d’une série d’objets et construit des regards nouveaux indulgents et poétiques avec le patrimoine matériel qui nous entoure. Petits ou grands, artisanaux ou industriels, en cours d’usage ou abandonnés, découverts au gré de flâneries physiques ou virtuelles et de rencontres fortuites, ces objets forment ensemble un échantillon de notre société. Composés d’un état initial et d’un état fantasmé, les diptyques présentés proposent à chacun des objets trouvés une vie nouvelle et un destin architectural inédit. Ce voyage entre réel et fantasme, entre économie et spéculation, entre fonction et forme, sauve d’une obsolescence certaine tout objet de notre quotidien qui devient potentiel de forme et de matière par-delà tout jugement de valeur. Cette collection se lit comme un espoir nouveau et constitue les premiers fragments d’un langage architectural possiblement commun.

"Objets Trouvés" is an invitation to think collectively about the subjects of reuse and repurposing of materials in order to add a necessary cultural and disciplinary dimension. This exhibition brings together forty-two international practices to speculate on the transformation of a series of objects and builds new indulgent and poetic views with the material heritage that surrounds us. Small or large, artisanal or industrial, in use or abandoned, found through physical or virtual wanderings and chance encounters, these objects model together a sample of our society. Composed of an initial state and a fantasized state, the diptychs presented here offer each of the found objects a new life and a new architectural destiny. This journey between reality and fantasy, between economy and speculation, between form and function saves from certain obsolescence every object of our daily lives becomes a potential form and matter and calls to be considered beyond all judgment. This collection reads like a new desire and constitutes the first fragments of a possible common architectural language.
